Brenda Galusha Obituary, Death – Eddyville Resident Dies at 85

Brenda Galusha, 85, of Eddyville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Princeton Nursing and Rehab in Princeton, Kentucky. Her passing marks a loss for her family and loved ones, who will remember her through the memories they shared with her throughout her life.

Born on June 3, 1951, Brenda was the daughter of the late James Wesley Lynch and NellyLee Fraliex Lynch. She built her life around her family and is survived by her children, grandchildren, and extended relatives.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, James Galusha, and his wife, Angie, of Eddyville, and her daughter, Miranda Galusha, also of Eddyville. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Driver, and her husband, Jerry, of Eddyville; three grandchildren, Dallas Galusha, Cody Galusha, and Megan Cleaves; along with several nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Hylan Woodson Galusha; her brothers, Wesley Galusha and Buster Galusha; her sister, Hilda Kowalski; and her granddaughter, Kindra Thompson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville. Rev. Jerry Driver and Rev. Steve Burkeen will officiate the service, followed by burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until 2 p.m., giving family members, friends, and others who knew Brenda an opportunity to pay their respects and offer support to her loved ones.

Brenda Galusha’s family will gather to honor her life and say their final goodbyes. She will be remembered by those closest to her, while her family and friends reflect on the time they shared with her.
